LID88
I believe racing drivers and riders are truly heroic, giving 100% of their focus and energy to push machines to 100% of their speed capabilities and failure points. However, it seems that the machines, manufacturers, and sponsors overshadow the fact that there actually is a living, breathing human being inside the car or on the bike. To help viewers better empathize with the driver or rider, "LID88" was designed with two distinct features to help: a full-face visor and multiple in-helmet cameras for home VR.

1. FULL-FACE VISOR
By simply revealing more of their faces, we can begin to humanize the connection between the drivers/riders and the machines. Advanced transparent materials would need to be developed (is Aluminum oxynitride a thing?), but I think this would go a long way to make the drivers and riders the central feature and not just a place for more logos.

2. IN-HELMET CAMERAS FOR VIRTUAL REALITY
I love in-car/on-bike cameras, but they just seem to be old-tech. "LID88" incorporates multiple cameras, image stabilization, and machine-learning/AI to provide a VR environment that can be used for home VR headsets and racing simulators, giving the fans a much more immersive understanding of what the drivers and riders experience throughout a race.
